ACS-2675C Fanless Box PC |
Interworld Electronics has released the ACS-2675C Intel Socket P Core 2 Duo based embedded controller from Aplex Technology Inc. The ACS-2675C is a high performance standalone embedded PC featuring fanless operation, compact size, robust construction and low power requirements.
The ACS-2675C is supplied with an Intel P8600 Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz dual core processor to provide a state-of-the-art multiprocessing platform. The ACS-2675C is equipped with two SODIMM sockets supporting up to 8GB of DDR3 system memory, two Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet connectors, six USB 2.0 ports and four RS-232 ports for communication. Two 2.5" SATA hard drives can be internally mounted while an external CompactFlash slot is provided for additional storage. System expansion is also possible via two internal PCI slots or optionally 1x PCI and 1x PCI-e(x1) slot. The ability to mount two internal hard drives is a unique feature of the ACS-2675C which allows either addition storage to be added or a redundant RAID system to be implemented. Note that a RAID system would require an optional PCI or PCI-e RAID controller card. The ACS-2675C provides both VGA and HDMI video output allowing single or dual displays to be accommodated.
The fanless design of the ACS-2675C reduces the possibility of airborne corrosive or conductive materials entering the system to provide a long-term reliable industrial computing solution.
The ACS-2675C can operate from a wide range 9 to 32 VDC power source making it ideal for vehicle embedded system as well as digital signage and factory control applications.
